To remember and honour the identities of the women that inspire us and whose stories we wish to celebrate, we have named each piece of jewellery after a female pioneer at the forefront of Italian history.

The name of this particular piece is inspired by Bianca Mosca, a London-based fashion designer of Italian descent.

After the second World War, Mosca rose to prominence as one of the most important fashion designers in England. Following her employment as head designer at several leading British fashion houses, she founded her own couture label in 1946 which promoted the use of British fabrics in dressmaking. In 1939 she became the only female founding member of the Society of London Fashion Designers, which represented the interests of the British couture industry. Upon her death, she was celebrated as a true innovator in the early years of the British fashion industry.
